French Ceramic Vessel

Hand-built by the French artist Claire Pain. The surface is raw and stone-like, closer to unglazed than polished, and the rim rises and falls where it was formed by hand. 8 inches tall, white throughout.

Claire builds these rather than throwing them, so no two carry the same line. Wide enough for branches, steady enough to leave empty — which is how most of them end up being used.
