Antique Dough Board

An antique bread board from Transylvania, hand-cut from a single plank. A century of daily bread has worn it honey-smooth, and every knot and softened edge is part of its story. Wood. One of a kind.

I found it while traveling through France, which is how these usually turn up — a long way from where they were made. I lean mine against the backsplash and pull it down to serve.
